Is it anything to do with Appletalk? Is that switched on?

Just keep resetting the iPod itself and it’ll work eventually (may take a few goes).

install the latest updater to your machine

it should resync everything

also, handy bit of software, gopod, removes the volume limit on all european s.

hanks, it works now. I’m so happy. There’s a sound limit on them? That kinda sucks. innit.

aye, the sound limit thing sucks, though i suppose it helps prevent us going deaf.
however, as i am half deaf already i gotsa to get rid of the limit.

did you run gopod? it really makes the ipod a lot lot louder
