This is the other half of shit and shine, please excuse his appaling spelling, he’s American. We’ve got a 42 minute track coming out on Southern Records in March, and the debut album’s up for a CD re-release sometime in the new year.

shit and shine are amazing. saw them supporting part chimp once and lightning bolt last month, they deafened me. and casios with effects pedals…genius.

Hi, just Googled S+S, found this.

I saw them at the Scala in London on the 19th of April… holy shit!! They played their 42 min track, and it consisted of ONE TWO BAR RHYTHM!!!! WHAT THE FUCK!!!! I think I can still remember it- its forever burnt into my brain:

dum, ka-dum-dum, ka-dum-dum-dum-ka-dum, dum-ka-dum.

They had very good stamina. And there were 4 drummers! Cool! I must try and find some more stuff by them.

They weren’t actually as loud as Boom Bip or Caribou though. They still rocked.

Well, I have no idea whether anyone will ever read this, but thats my 2 cents concerning Shit and Shine.

I bought a copy of “Jealous of Shit & Shine” w/ the bonus CD, “You’re Lucky To Have Friends Like Us” included. I love it!! Best album of ‘06.
Now, I’m trying to find the “Ladybird” CD. If anybody knows where I can get a copy, let me know immediately.
Just crank this muthuh up, and let your ears do the rest…
